MPC Liturgical Dance Ministry

An integral part of worship services, special events, and ministry outreach, the Choresis Ministry, which was established in 2002, interprets the Word of God through dance and creative expression. Membership is open to women 18 and older who are called to the ministry of dance. Ministry members invite the Holy Spirit to use them as vessels to enlighten and prayerfully lead others to Christ. Participation in Bible study is required to facilitate understanding of God’s Word in order to interpret it; members also fast and pray before they minister. And, when they worship, the ministry treats the space in which they stand as “Holy Ground.”
